The report said the share of sales in the above-300,000-yuan price band within the MPV segment has exceeded 40% for several consecutive months\.

The new-energy transaction price fell 2,325 yuan from the previous month, a decrease of 1\.47%\. The new-energy discount change index was -0\.81 and the discount was 9,900 yuan, 174 yuan higher than the previous month, an increase of 1\.78%\.

## New-energy sedans, SUVs and MPVs

The new-energy sedan market price change index was -5\.34 in September 2026, with a transaction price of 111,900 yuan, down 4,983 yuan or 4\.26% from the previous month\. The new-energy sedan discount change index was -1\.17 and the discount was 10,100 yuan, 182 yuan higher than the previous month, an increase of 1\.82%\.

The new-energy SUV market price change index was -16\.39 in September 2026, with a transaction price of 176,300 yuan, down 1,345 yuan or 0\.76% from the previous month\. The new-energy SUV discount change index was -0\.64 and the discount was 9,300 yuan, 285 yuan higher than the previous month, an increase of 3\.15%\.

The new-energy MPV market price change index was 16\.48 in September 2026, with a transaction price of 349,300 yuan, up 22,452 yuan or 6\.87% from the previous month\. The new-energy MPV discount change index was -0\.74 and the discount was 15,000 yuan, 311 yuan lower than the previous month, a decrease of 2\.03%\.

The report said the monthly sales share of models priced above 300,000 yuan in the new-energy MPV segment has remained above 50%\.

## Scope of the study

The study covers 46 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Wuhan, spanning first-, second- and third-tier cities in the main passenger car sales regions\. The market models come from Shanghai Fuland's price monitoring system, and the calculation is based on market sales data published by the Passenger Car Market Information Joint Committee\.
