# Changan Showcases Vehicle-Road-Cloud Features at Beijing Yizhuang Test Ride Event

Changan took part in a vehicle-road-cloud integrated mass-production application test ride event held October 22–23 in Beijing Yizhuang, where 22 Chinese and foreign automakers put 21 models on the road\. ## Event draws 22 automakers and 21 models

The vehicle-road-cloud integrated multi-network mass-production application test ride event departed from Beijing Yizhuang on October 22–23, with 22 Chinese and foreign automakers putting 21 models on the road in batches\. The event was organized by the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Green Vehicle and Mobility\.

Changan participated in the event and demonstrated connected functions under its Tianzhu navigation system\.

## Changan adds three connected scenarios

After completing test rides of connected forward collision avoidance \(C-FCA\), connected green-wave speed guidance \(C-GLOSA\) and connected ramp merge and exit \(C-CVM\) the previous year, Changan ran through three new scenarios this year: connected vulnerable road user collision avoidance \(C-VRU\), special vehicle information warning \(C-SIW\) and connected intelligent parking guidance \(C-IPG\)\.

In the C-SIW demonstration, the in-vehicle screen displayed a prompt that an ambulance was approaching from behind and requested a lane change to the right\. Changan completed the full loop of receiving, displaying and acknowledging the message, and the vehicle could automatically change lanes when cruise assistance was active\.

In the C-IPG demonstration, the system identified parking space B121 at a distance of 213\.7 meters with an estimated parking time of about one minute\. The vehicle followed the route and parked successfully, and provided exit route guidance on departure\.

Changan is also working with partners including Chenxin Technology and Xingyun Interconnection to explore direct communication between vehicles and mobile devices, allowing pedestrians' devices to broadcast their own positions\.

## Two mass-production routes and an L3 architecture

Changan has laid out two mass-production application routes\. The first is rapid popularization of connected functions, based on its self-developed C-V2X in-vehicle application called Chelu Zhixing, which connects to city cloud control basic platforms via 4G/5G\. The second is deep integration with advanced intelligent driving, using a vehicle-road-cloud integrated vehicle-side fusion architecture for L3 autonomous driving that connects to the Chongqing cloud control basic platform\.

Changan plans to continue deploying the C-VRU, C-SIW and C-IPG capabilities into its Tianzhu navigation technology\.

## Digital-physical unmanned test system covers over 200 scenarios

Changan, together with Guqi Zhikong, Simo Technology, Western Zhilian, Black Sesame Technologies and Liantong Zhiwang Technology, launched an industry-first digital-physical fusion unmanned test system\. The system cumulatively covers more than 200 scenarios, supports simultaneous control of more than 30 cloud-coordinated targets, and improves test efficiency in complex scenarios by more than 200%\.

The system is now in use at Changan's Chongqing Western Proving Ground, supporting validation of L2 to L4 models and providing high-consistency, high-efficiency and low-cost validation support for the mass production of key functions such as AEB, AES, LKSA, NOA and TJP\.

## Industry chain signs commercial cooperation

At the closing ceremony on October 23, Changan, together with Western Zhilian and Chongqing Chewang, completed a commercial signing of intelligent connected vehicle vehicle-road-cloud industry chain companies\.

A total of 14 groups and 26 upstream and downstream companies have reached cooperation in the industry chain, including 11 vehicle manufacturers, 8 city vehicle-network companies and 7 connected new component suppliers\.

Changan said it will work with industry partners to accelerate mass-production deployment of vehicle-road-cloud integration in products and to promote application in research, development and testing\.
