XPeng held a brand night and launch event in Dubai for its GX and G9L flagship SUVs, presenting its next-phase growth strategy for the Middle East and Africa\. More than 300 media representatives and investors from 14 countries attended the event\.

The GX flagship is priced at AED 299,000 in the UAE, equivalent to more than 540,000 yuan\. The G9L carries a UAE presale price starting at AED 259,000, equivalent to more than 450,000 yuan\. Both models are on sale in 11 MEA countries\.

The GX and G9L are equipped with XPeng's Kunpeng super extended-range technology, tuned for long-distance travel and extreme heat in the Middle East\. The 800V high-voltage platform and 5C ultra-fast charging allow a 10%-80% battery charge in 11\.7 minutes, according to XPeng\. The G9L was developed to four global five-star safety standards\.

## GX Orders and Desert Range Test

XPeng GX accumulated more than 4,000 orders before the MEA launch event, a record for overseas orders of a Chinese full-size six-seat flagship SUV, according to XPeng\. In the third quarter, the GX ranked among the top three large six-seat SUVs priced above 300,000 yuan\.

In the Liwa region's extreme desert heat, the GX completed a 1,231-kilometer zero-recharge range challenge from the UAE to Oman\.

## Middle East and Africa Expansion Plans

XPeng plans to complete market entry in all six Gulf Cooperation Council countries within 2026 and to expand to more than 20 countries and regions across the Middle East and Africa by 2027\. The company plans to open 100 offline stores in the region by 2027 and to offer six Middle East versions of its global vehicles in the next year, covering both extended-range and battery-electric powertrains\.

XPeng entered the UAE market in October 2024 with Ali & Sons and has since launched in Qatar with Almana Group, with regular operations in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon\. In 2026, XPeng entered Tunisia, Bahrain, Morocco and Mauritius\. In Egypt, XPeng became the top registered premium electric vehicle brand in the first half of 2026\.

Ahead of the brand night, XPeng signed distribution agreements with Kuwait's Auto Sales and Oman's Mohsin Automobiles LLC, among others\. Its first cross-regional joint warranty now covers the GCC and the Levant, with plans to extend it to North Africa in 2027\. A fully digital central spare-parts warehouse in Dubai can deliver parts to repair outlets within 24 hours at the fastest\. XPeng's sales network covers 83 countries and regions worldwide\.

## Robotics and Flying Cars

The XPeng IRON humanoid robot made its first public appearance in the Middle East at the event, with the first overseas deliveries planned for the first half of 2027\.

XPeng ecosystem company XPENG AEROHT is working with Ras Al Khaimah to build a regulatory sandbox for personal flying cars under the supervision of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, and is planning a demonstration route between Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah\. XPeng said it is exploring the possibility of bringing Robotaxi operations to the Middle East\.
