China EV Signal / Agent skill
China’s EV signal.
In your agent.
Ask for the latest headlines, follow a manufacturer or build a weekly briefing. Bring our published reporting into your conversation, with links back to every story.
Install the China EV Signal news skill from https://chinaevsignal.com/skills/china-ev-news/SKILL.md. Fetch and inspect the SKILL.md, then save it as china-ev-news/SKILL.md in your supported skills directory. If this agent cannot install local skills or access the internet, explain that limitation. After installation, use the skill to fetch the latest published news and include China EV Signal article links.
Paste the prompt into an agent that supports local skills and internet access. It will fetch the skill file and install it using its supported skill directory. You can also download SKILL.md or inspect the skill first.
02 / Start a conversation
A few ways to follow the signal.
The daily check
“What are the latest China EV headlines? Include article links.”
Follow a company
“What has BYD announced in the past seven days?”
Connect the stories
“Summarize this week’s battery industry reporting from China EV Signal.”
03 / Read with context
A briefing you can trace back.
Each news item includes a publication date and a China EV Signal article link. Your agent checks the feed when you ask and reports when it checked. You can ask in English or Chinese.
Coverage reflects what we have published. A quiet search means no matching reporting was found here. Demo results are explicitly labeled. For a daily or weekly delivery, set up a separate scheduled task in an agent that supports it.
Manual installation & public data access
The skill is a single file. For Codex, save it to ~/.agents/skills/china-ev-news/SKILL.md. Other agents may use a different skills directory. Reload skills or restart the agent if it does not appear.
For integrations, query the public news API. It supports manufacturer, q (an English title or summary substring), since (inclusive), until (exclusive), page and limit (default 20, maximum 50).
Dates accept YYYY-MM-DD at midnight UTC or ISO timestamps with an explicit timezone. URL-encode timezone offsets. Follow the response’s next URL for more results. The response includes the available company slugs, fetch time and demo/live mode.
