Racco to Enter Macau and Sri Lanka

BYD announced that the Racco electric mini vehicle, originally developed for the Japanese market, will expand beyond Japan and first go on sale in Sri Lanka and Macau.

The announcement was made on October 6 at a store event in Japan marking cumulative BYD deliveries in the country surpassing 10,000 units.

Macau Reservations Open, Sri Lanka Launch Set for Friday

Reservations for the Racco are already open in Macau.

In Sri Lanka, BYD has scheduled a press conference and official sales launch on Friday.

BYD's Japan Deliveries Reach 10,000

BYD's cumulative deliveries in Japan have exceeded 10,000 units, according to the figure cited at the October 6 event.

BYD entered the Japanese market in January 2023.
