Agreement Signed in Chongqing
CATL and Seres Group signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement in Chongqing on October 10. The agreement covers three areas: expanding production capacity, building a supercharging and battery service ecosystem, and accelerating global market development.
Capacity Expansion at Seres Super Factory
The cooperation includes accelerating construction of Phase II of the in-factory facility at Seres Super Factory. The planned annual capacity for Phase II is 10–12GWh, and once completed, total annual capacity for Phase I and Phase II will exceed 20GWh.
Supercharging and Battery Services
CATL and Seres will cooperate on a supercharging network and battery services to create a service system covering the full lifecycle.
Global Market Expansion
The two companies will jointly explore overseas markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. The partnership also aims to support Chongqing's goal of building a trillion-yuan high-end intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry cluster.
AITO Deliveries Surpass 1.2 Million
Since its founding, the AITO brand has equipped all its models with CATL batteries, and cumulative deliveries have exceeded 1.2 million units. AITO will continue to equip its entire lineup with CATL batteries long-term.
