Agreement Signed
CATL and Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group Party Secretary and Chairman Kong Qingxue, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager Zhao Junxuan, CATL Chairman and CEO Robin Zeng, and CATL Chairman Assistant and Corporate Planning Department Director Qu Tao attended and witnessed the signing.
Cooperation Areas
The two companies will cooperate in commercial vehicle electrification, charging and battery-swap infrastructure, new energy storage, the low-altitude economy and new energy vehicle aftermarket services.
CATL and Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group plan to advance heavy-truck battery-swap station construction by combining Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group's highway network and roadside resources with CATL's Qiji standardized battery-swap technology and networked operations. The companies intend to use vehicle-battery separation and standardized battery-swap models to improve heavy-truck energy replenishment efficiency, lower overall logistics costs and accelerate large-scale adoption of new energy heavy trucks.
The companies will jointly develop solar, storage and charging and battery-swap facilities along highways to promote local consumption of clean energy and raise the green and low-carbon performance of highway transportation.
Longer-Term Exploration
CATL and Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group will explore full-lifecycle power battery services, battery dismantling and recycling, and the low-altitude economy, aiming to build a transportation-energy integration model combining green energy supply, intelligent battery-swap services and smart operations management.
