Chery joins Forbes China Best Employers list

Chery Automobile was named one of the 20 Chinese companies on the 2026 Forbes China Best Employers list, which was announced on October 20. The selection is organized by Forbes and assesses companies from both the employer and employee perspectives.

Training and career development

Chery's talent development rests on its 4+9+3+N training and development system, under which management, professional and technical roles form three parallel promotion paths. The company's leadership development plan has four levels, and it operates nine professional technical colleges and three strategic talent programs.

Chery invests tens of millions of yuan each year in employee training, and domestic employees average nearly 60 hours of training annually. The company's global R&D network follows a 1+7+N layout.

Skilled talent and workplace support

Chery has built two national-level, two provincial-level and five municipal-level skilled master studios. The company has produced six national model workers, more than 20 provincial and municipal model workers and craftsmen, and more than 500 high-skilled craftsmen, with cumulative training of more than 11,000 high-skilled workers.

Chery's employee programs include the Hand in Hand Association, which has brought together more than 700 couples, spring and summer holiday childcare classes, and exam-accompaniment leave for employees whose children are taking middle school or college entrance exams, a benefit the company has maintained for ten years. Chery also offers further-education awards that have reached nearly 1,000 employees' children. The company has repeatedly received titles including National Model Enterprise for Harmonious Labor Relations and Model Workers' Home.
