Auto goods exports to Belt and Road countries
China exported $116.98 billion worth of auto goods to Belt and Road countries in the first eight months of 2026, up 31.0% from a year earlier, according to customs data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. The figure accounted for 57.9% of China's total auto goods exports.
Vehicle and new energy vehicle exports
Vehicle exports to Belt and Road countries reached 4.798 million units in January-August 2026, up 44.8% year on year.
New energy vehicle exports to Belt and Road countries totaled 1.695 million units in the same period, up 61.0% year on year.
