August 2026 Vehicle Exports
China exported 1.047 million complete vehicles in August 2026, down 4.2% from the previous month but up 37.2% year on year, according to customs data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
The export value of complete vehicles reached $18.33 billion in August 2026, a 3.4% month-on-month decrease and a 43.0% year-on-year increase.
January-August 2026 Cumulative Exports
China exported 7.446 million complete vehicles in the first eight months of 2026, up 51.2% year on year.
The cumulative export value of complete vehicles during the period reached $129.11 billion, up 53.1% year on year.
