September 2026 vehicle exports

China exported 1.182 million vehicles in September 2026, an increase of 12.9% from the previous month and 56.3% from the same month a year earlier, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers compiled from General Administration of Customs figures.

The export value of vehicles reached $20.75 billion in September 2026, up 13.2% month on month and 62.0% year on year.

January to September 2026 cumulative exports

For the period from January to September 2026, China exported 8.628 million vehicles, an increase of 51.9% compared with the same period a year earlier.

The cumulative export value over January to September 2026 amounted to $149.86 billion, up 54.3% year on year.
