Agreement Signed in Ningde
Chinalco and CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two companies will cooperate on non-ferrous metal new materials R&D, recycled metal recycling, green power direct connection and energy storage, high-altitude source-grid-load-storage, and global industrial chain support.
Dong Jianxiong, Chinalco Party Leadership Group member and vice general manager, and Xiao Lina, executive president of CATL's zero-carbon energy business unit, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides.
Executives Attend Signing
Duan Dongxiang, Chinalco Party Leadership Group secretary and chairman, and Wang Shilei, Chinalco Party Leadership Group deputy secretary and general manager, attended the signing ceremony. Zeng Yuqun, CATL chairman and CEO, and Zheng Yelai, co-president of CATL's market system, also attended and witnessed the signing.
