Test result
The rear-wheel-drive 2026 Li Auto i6 drove 811.4 km without recharging in a round-Taihu Lake test broadcast live for 18 hours, Li Auto said. Against the model's 780 km CLTC range rating, the result corresponds to 104% range achievement.
Four adults were in the vehicle throughout, along with 50 kg of broadcast equipment, close to fully loaded. Ambient temperatures were given as 13°C to 20°C, and the automatic air conditioning was set to 24°C and left on throughout.
Energy use
Average whole-vehicle energy consumption was 11.8 kWh/100 km, a figure Li Auto said includes air conditioning and onboard electronics rather than drive energy alone.
Converted to CLTC conditions, the run consumed the equivalent of 778.1 km of range, Li Auto said. Air conditioning and electronics accounted for 106.6 km of that, while driving accounted for 671.5 km, 83.1 km less than the CLTC standard equivalent.
Battery and range
The 2026 Li Auto i6 is equipped with a 96 kWh battery, and its CLTC range is 8% higher than the 2025 model's, according to Li Auto. The company said its in-house electric drive system adds about 30 km of range at the same battery level.
The vehicle also introduced an ATR battery-level algorithm, which Li Auto said addresses inaccurate state-of-charge readings, and an APC power-control algorithm, which it said addresses weak winter performance.
Charging network and launch
Li Auto said it operates more than 4,200 ultra-fast charging stations nationwide, covering 25 national-level expressways in a 12 vertical and 13 horizontal layout.
