Second-Generation Seagull Launch and Pricing
BYD launched the second-generation Seagull with a super trade-in starting price of 62,900 yuan. The model comes in five variants, with listing guide prices of 65,900 yuan for the Vitality Edition, 72,900 yuan for the Freedom Edition, 75,900 yuan for the Comfort Edition, 82,900 yuan for the Flying Edition and 99,900 yuan for the Smart Fun Edition.
Super trade-in prices are 62,900 yuan for the Vitality Edition, 69,900 yuan for the Freedom Edition, 72,900 yuan for the Comfort Edition, 79,900 yuan for the Flying Edition and 96,900 yuan for the Smart Fun Edition.
Purchase Benefits and After-Sales Terms
BYD offers a 3,000 yuan super trade-in subsidy for any brand, plus financial plans including 50% down payment, 18 periods interest-free and up to five-year long-term loans. The financial products are provided by partner financial service institutions, with annualized interest rates ranging from 0 to 7.65% depending on the loan amount.
All variants include two years of free cloud services, one year of free in-car data at 5GB per month, and free OTA upgrades. Non-commercial vehicles receive lifetime warranty on the three electric systems for the first owner, and the whole-vehicle warranty period is six years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. Optional extended warranties of one year/30,000 km and two years/60,000 km are available.
Except for the flash-charging delivery gift, the benefits apply to purchases invoiced between October 20, 2026 and 24:00 on November 30, 2026. The Comfort, Flying and Smart Fun editions receive 12 months of free flash-charging benefits. Non-commercial owners can enjoy free charging at BYD flash-charging piles for one year from delivery. Customers with installation conditions for the Vitality and Freedom editions receive a free 7 kW charging pile and installation service within two years of delivery.
