Seres Saido AI Car Debuts in 412th Batch
Seres has publicly filed an "AI car" named Saido in China's 412th batch of road motor vehicle manufacturer and product announcements. The model does not use Huawei's HarmonyOS cockpit or Qiankun intelligent driving system; instead, Seres has partnered with ByteDance and equipped the car with the Doubao large model.
The same batch also included another AI model, the Jiayue 07, described as the industry's first product defined by an "AI-native" architecture.
New Energy Models Dominate the 412th Batch
The 412th announcement batch included 60 new energy models. Battery-electric vehicles accounted for 60% of the total, while plug-in hybrid and extended-range models together made up 35%; the remainder were hybrid models.
In battery supply, lithium iron phosphate and ternary batteries formed a roughly seven-to-three split. CATL secured half of the installations in the announcement, while other battery makers each supplied fewer than 10 vehicles.
Fang Cheng Bao Ti9 and Lynk & Co 900L Filed
BYD's Fang Cheng Bao brand filed the Ti9, a plug-in hybrid rather than a battery-electric model, equipped with a 66.48 kWh battery. The Ti9 has a WLTC pure-electric range of 310 kilometers and a combined range of more than 1,600 kilometers on a full tank and charge. Fang Cheng Bao reported cumulative sales of 285,436 units in the first three quarters and cumulative exports of 55,230 units.
The Lynk & Co 900L, a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, was filed with 55.1 kWh and 70 kWh battery packs, corresponding to WLTC pure-electric ranges of 245 kilometers and 320 kilometers. The announcement shows the model uses CATL ternary batteries.
