STELATO V8 Family Flagship MPV Opens Pre-Sales

STELATO has opened pre-sales for the V8, a family smart flagship MPV, the company announced. The V8 measures 5,335mm long, 2,005mm wide and 1,805mm tall with a 3,250mm wheelbase, and offers both battery-electric and range-extender powertrains with an 800V high-voltage platform as standard.

STELATO V8 Pre-Sales Begin

STELATO has opened pre-sales for the V8, positioned as a family smart flagship MPV.

The V8 features an 800V high-voltage platform as standard for both battery-electric and range-extender versions. The battery-electric version has a 120kWh battery and 830km CLTC range. The range-extender version has a 75.4kWh battery, 430km CLTC electric range and 1,465km CLTC combined range.

Dimensions and Space

The V8 measures 5,335mm long, 2,005mm wide and 1,805mm tall, with a 3,250mm wheelbase. Its drag coefficient at 120kph is 0.226.

The cabin offers 3,697mm of effective space, with over 30 seat combinations. Second-row seats rotate to 45, 90 and 180 degrees. The electric side sliding door has a 730mm opening, and the floor height is 380mm. The vehicle is described as carrying seven people and ten pieces of luggage.

The trunk has a 674L capacity, expandable to 1,552L, with a 1,245mm horizontal width and 1,125mm vertical height. Four smart privacy light-curtain glass panels are fitted throughout.

Chassis and Safety

The V8 has rear-wheel steering with a plus or minus 12.0 degree angle and a suspension adjustment range of 80mm. Its minimum turning radius is 5.09m.

The body uses a Xuanwu architecture with a roof crush design of five times the standard. It applies 16 locations of 2GPa hot-formed steel, including a 3m A-pillar roll cage. The rear impact energy design is 3.18 times the national standard.

Autonomous Driving Hardware

The V8 is designed with an L3 autonomous driving architecture featuring eightfold redundancy across the full chain. It carries 38 sensors, including three high-precision solid-state lidar units, one 896-line dual-light-path image-grade lidar and two high-position B-pillar cameras.
