The top 10 SUV manufacturers in China sold a combined 8.335 million vehicles in January–September 2026, accounting for 68.2% of total SUV sales, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers' industry information department. Compared with the same period last year, sales at Great Wall Motor, Changan Automobile and GAC Toyota declined to varying degrees, while the other companies posted growth.

The top 10 SUV manufacturers in China sold a combined 8.335 million vehicles in January–September 2026, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers' industry information department.

These 10 manufacturers' SUV sales accounted for 68.2% of total SUV sales in the period.

Year-on-year performance

Compared with January–September 2025, SUV sales at Great Wall Motor, Changan Automobile and GAC Toyota declined to varying degrees in January–September 2026.

The other companies among the top 10 recorded growth in SUV sales over the same period. The group includes Chery Automobile, BYD, Geely Automobile, Leapmotor, Tesla, SAIC Motor and Li Auto.
