XPeng Officially Names Robotaxi Brand XPENG YOYO

XPeng Group has officially launched the Chinese name Xiaopeng Youyou and English name XPENG YOYO for its Robotaxi business. On the same day, XPeng Group's website added a Robotaxi page, and the XPENG YOYO autonomous ride-hailing mini program went online simultaneously.

The mini program will later open to the public for experience through invitation codes. On the website, Robotaxi sits alongside AI cars, robots, flying cars, and Turing AI chips.

XPeng Robotaxi Testing and Commercial Trial Timeline

In May, XPeng's mass-produced Robotaxi vehicle rolled off the line. In July, the full chain from online ordering and automatic pickup to drop-off was connected, and employee internal testing began. In August, XPeng obtained remote testing qualifications for intelligent connected vehicles in Guangzhou, allowing driverless road tests without a safety driver in the main driver's seat on relevant Level 1, 2, and 3 test roads in Guangzhou.

XPeng Robotaxi has also started paid internal testing, with each internal test order costing only 1 yuan.

XPeng Robotaxi Vehicle Technology and Features
