BYD Reports October Sales of 490,168 Vehicles, a 2026 High

October sales reach year-to-date high

BYD sold 490,168 vehicles in October 2026, the company's highest monthly total so far in 2026. Passenger vehicle sales accounted for 483,125 units of the total.

Brand breakdown

BYD Auto's Dynasty and Ocean lineups sold 423,843 vehicles in October 2026. Fang Cheng Bao sold 43,872 vehicles, Denza sold 15,152 vehicles and Yangwang sold 258 vehicles.

Overseas sales more than double

BYD's overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups totaled 169,564 units in October 2026, up 103% year on year.

Year-to-date performance

BYD Group's cumulative sales for January-October 2026 reached 3,621,744 vehicles. Cumulative overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups over the same period totaled 1,507,395 units, and cumulative sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 18.7 million units.
